Other
If you're new to any aspect of this style of RPG, the "Other" heading is for you. It's just there on your left: follow it step by step and you won't get lost. It explains how to "play by post", how to navigate your way around the board, and some of the stuff specific to Myth. Given that the forums themselves cannot be read until you're a member of Myth yourself, the "Other" heading also contains some examples of the characters and threads we have here.
The History of Myth
Legend has it that five stars once watched the blue and green planet of Elementum. One star, of course, was the ruling sun. The other four were known as the Elementi the fiery red star Ignis, the beautiful silver star Aer, the mysterious blue star Irrigo and the little green star Terra. Bored of the normalcy that went on below them, the Elementi decided to plummet to the earth, and there they caused grand and paranormal marvels. One was the mutation of wolves into Kinspecies one for each star, from the powerful Igniskin and the winged Aerkin, to the swimming Irrigokin and the tree-climbing Terrakin. Is unity what's best for these magical Kinspecies?
The Setting of Myth
This country is called the Shadow of Let because it lies in the shadow of a colossal mountain range known as Let. The country is almost 200 hundred miles at least a week hard traveling from the ocean to Let itself, and over 70 miles across in places. The land climbs from the lowest of the low (the ocean itself), to mountains so high that one would not be surprised to see heavens at their zenith. The Shadow of Let is wild and unruly, fickle in both climate and terrain, refusing to keep to the expected; for pleasure or for evil. The landscape itself feels alive and is full of character, and is home to uncountable species of plant and animal. If you want to tackle it, you must possess an eye for adventure
